J.R. Hall, Director of ADRMediators, Inc., has 30+ years as a mediator and has mediated over 4,000 cases, including Labor, Civil, Family, and Appellant mediations. Mr. Hall was the lead mediator for the Space Shuttle Disaster of 2003 and the Confederate Flag issue in South Carolina in 1999. A graduate of Purdue University with the study of Law with additional studies at Harvard, Pepperdine, Duke University, University of Colorado, University of Houston, Indiana University, and the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Mr. Hall worked with U.S. Postal Service to develop in-house mediation programs to help resolve employment issues. Mr. Hall has mediated cases for the U.S. Department of Justice, Homeland Security, and the Security Exchange Commission. Mr. Hall has mediated hundreds of family/divorce mediations and is an empathetic mediator who understands the emotions that can affect a divorce mediation. Mr. Hall has trained over 8,000 students in his career. Mr. Hall taught conflict resolution at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell and Lone Star University in Texas. Mr. Hall is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Civil, Family, and Appellant Mediator. Before his temporary retirement, Mr. Hall was the Director and owner of ADR Services International, Inc., which employed over 2,700 attorney mediators. ADR Services provided services to many governments and private sector agencies and was ranked by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in the USA. Mr. Hall is a former member of The Supreme Court of Florida UPL Committee.
VeRonica Owens, Originally from the hills of beautiful southwestern Virginia, VeRonica moved to North Florida as a young child. VeRonica was the salutatorian of her graduating class and studied English at Florida State University. VeRonica earned her Juris doctor in 2009. Upon graduation, VeRonica served as an administrative hearing officer for the Agency for Workforce Innovation, now the Department of Economic Opportunity, where she presided over thousands of administrative hearings. In 2010, VeRonica opened her private practice, now expanding to three office locations. In 2014, VeRonica was appointed the Department of Economic Opportunity’s liaison with the United States Department of Labor. VeRonica is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator passionate about getting the parties to Yes. VeRonica has mediated hundreds of family cases and routinely lends her expertise as an assistant family mediation trainer. VeRonica is married to Peter, former Assistant General Counsel to the Governor and current Chief of Staff to Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, Jimmy Patronis. VeRonica and Peter are blessed with five spirited children, Peter II, Evangelina, Margarete, Francena, and Christiane.
